Description of key information

kinematic viscosity of the test material at 40°C: 0.9-1.2 cSt [mm^2/s]

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is a mixture of hydrocarbons (UVCB substance) and has varying viscosities.

The kinematic viscosity of the test material ‘Kerosine (Fischer - Tropsch), full range, C8-16 - branched and linear' has been determined to be 0.9 -1.2 mm^2/s at 40°C (ASTM D445/IP71). The reported viscosity describe the range of 3 different batches in consideration of one historical result (0.921 mm^2/s at 40°C; 2.450 mm^2/s at -20°C).
