Any other information on results incl. tables

A test substance is considered explosive when it can react to produce very rapid increases in temperature or pressure.

The test substance does not contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties.

The oxygen balance of the test substance was 131%, which is higher than 200%. The value is obtained due to the presence of an ester group and a ketone group in themolecular structure of the test substance. These types of groups are not chemically instable or highly energetic. Based on this the test substance is considered to pose no risk for explodability.

In conclusion, Chloracetessigester has no explosive properties.
