Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on the daphnia magna reproduction study, the 21-day NOEC is higher than the maximum soluble concentration in medium (0.28 µg/l) for AD-1000.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Under the conditions of the present study, performed according to OECD 211 and EC C.20 test guidelines, taking into account the OECD guidance document on aquatic toxicity testing of difficult substances and mixtures, AD-1000 did not affect reproduction nor survival or growth of Daphnia magna exposed to 0.45 µm filtered solutions prepared at a loading rate of 100 mg/l after 21 days of exposure (NOEC). The actual exposure concentration was below the limit of detection of the analytical method (< 0.28 µg/l), but was considered to contain the maximum soluble concentration in medium. Note that water solubility was determined to be < 0.7 µg/l.
