Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The boiling point was determined from the vapor pressure curve, which was obtained using the dynamic method according to OECD 104.
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
dynamic method
Key result
Boiling pt.:
209.11 °C
Atm. press.:
101 325 Pa
Decomposition:
no

The test included the measurement of the vapor pressure at 20 temperatures (see table below).

Based on all these data a log p versus 1/T curve was established. Its equation is :

log (P/Torr) = 6.99486 – 1546.42/(T/°C + 166.702)

The boiling point was calculated using the equation with 101325 Pa as the pressure.
