Individual results
The test item was cooled down to -80 °C with a cooling rate of 1 K/min, -80 °C were kept for 60 min and 180 min, respectively, and afterwards the test item was heated up to 25 °C with a heating rate of 10 K/min. During heating up the measurements showed an exothermal effect (solidification) in the temperature range of (-80)- (-75 °C) and afterwards an endothermal effect (melting) in the temperature range of (-60)- (-45) °C. The solidification most likely took place at lower temperatures than the melting due to supercooling. The onset temperature was derived from the intersection of the tangent line with the highest slope of the endothermal peak with the baseline.
