First-aid measures
General advice
Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.Move out of dangerous area.
If inhaled
If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact
Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician.
In case of eye contact
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a doctor
After swallowing
Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a doctor.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media
Suitable extinguishing agents:
Use for small or developing fires, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. For large fire use water spray. Cool affected containers with water.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Carbon oxides, hydrogen fluoride
Advice for firefighters:
In case of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus, if necessary.
More information:
Use water spray to cool closed containers.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protective equipment. Do not inhale vapors / mist / gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Remove all sources of ignition. To bring people to safety. Beware of accumulating vapors which can form explosive concentrations. Vapors can accumulate in low-lying areas.
Environmental precautions:
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not empty into drains. An entry into the environment should be avoided.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning:
Collect the spilled material with a spark-proof vacuum cleaner or mix it with a damp cloth and place in a container for disposal in accordance with local legislation. Place into suitable closed containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid breathing vapors or mist. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic charging.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated place. Close open containers carefully and store upright to prevent leakage.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye / face protection
Safety glasses with side protection according to EN 166 Only use equipment that has been tested and approved according to official standards, such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166 (EU).
Skin protection:
Working with gloves. Gloves must be examined before use. Use a suitable extraction method (without touching the outer glove surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Disposal of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with legal requirements and good laboratory practice. Washing and drying hands.
The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of EU Directive 89/686 / EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Body protection impervious clothing, The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and quantity of the dangerous substance at the workplace.
Respiratory protection:
If air-purifying respiratory protection is required after the risk assessment, a full face mask with multipurpose combination filter (US) or filter type ABEK (EN 14387) must be used in addition to the technical measures. If the respiratory protective device is the only protective measure, use a self-contained breathing mask with full face mask. Respirators and components must be tested and approved to appropriate government standards such as NIOHS (US) or CEN (EU)
