Additional information

Based on the result from a standard biodegradation study, the substance is not readily biodegradable. According to the experimental results abiotic hydrolysis of the substance is very slow at pH 4, slightly faster at pH 7 and fastest at pH 9. The calculated respective hydrolytic half-life at pH 4 is 313 d, 132 d at pH 7 and 55.7 h at pH 9. The estimated Henry´s Law constant obtained by (Q)SAR suggests that the substance has no or low potential to volatilize. Therefore, it is not likely to be present in the atmosphere and indirect photodegradation in air is not expected to be a relevant degradation pathway.
