Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance showed no effect on fish in a saturated solution with a nominal loading of 1 ml/L. The LC50 and LC100 were determined to be >0.0136 mg/L after 96 h. The LC0 (96 h) is >=0.0136 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish was determined according to OECD guideline 203. A limit test with the saturated solution with a nominal loading of 1.00 ml/L was conducted under semi-static conditions with daily renewal of the test media. 17.0 µg/L to 17.6 µg/L of the test substance were detected in freshly prepared medium by analytical quantification via LC-MS-MS, in aged medium (24 h old) 11.3 to 13.0 µg/L of the test substance were detected (corresponding to 57 % - 66% of the inital concentration). Therefore, the effect levels are based on the geometric mean of test susbtance concentration.

The fish did not show any symptoms of toxicity and no mortality has been observed during the study. The saturated solution with a nominal loading of 1.00 ml/L of the test substance has been found to have no effect on the vitality of zebrafish. Therefore, the LC0 corresponds to >= 0.0136 mg/L. The LC50 and the LC100 are > 0.0136 mg/L.
