PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The PBT assessment is based on the available data. The test substance is readily biodegradable and does not fulfil the criteria of persistency and is not very persistent. The B-criterion is considered not to be fulfilled because the bioavailability is expected to be low and the substance is expected to be subject to transformation in fish. Furthermore, due to the very high logKow indicates that the substance has a BCF below 2000 according to the guidance document. The substance causes no toxic effects in the studies with aquatic organisms. The effect levels do not fulfil the trigger values for aquatic toxicity. The substance is not classified as mutagenic, carcinogenic or toxic for reproduction according to CLP regulation EC No.1272/2008. Therefore, the substance does not exhibit toxic properties.

Overall, the substance is not considered to have PBT or vPvB properties and does not fulfil the criteria for PBT or vPvB.
