Additional information

The toxic effect of 2,6-dimethylcyclohexylamine (CAS 6850-63-1) was studied in a non-GLP test according to German Industrial Standard DIN 38412 part 15 performed under static conditions with Leuciscus idus as test species (BASF AG, 1987; report no.: 87/192). After 96 hours of exposure a LC50 of 22 to 46 mg/L (geometric mean 31.8 mg/L) was determined, based on nominal concentrations.

The substance is concluded to be acutely harmful to fish.
