Any other information on results incl. tables

The determination of the boiling point was performed by visual judgement using the capillary.

At about 360 °C in the preliminary tests, the number of air bubbles increased. To confirm the result obtained in the preliminary tests, the determination of the boiling point was performed three times, heating quickly up to 340 °C and afterwards slowly using a heating rate of 0.5 °C/min.

A clear normal boiling point, as defined in the guideline with a current stream of bubbles evolving from the capillary, was observed at a heating temperature of 243.7 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In conclusion, using the capillary method according to EU A.2, OECD 103, OPPTS 830.722 the test item Aminopyrazol started boiling at 243.7 °C (516.9 K) at normal pressure (101.325 kPa).
Executive summary:

Title: Aminopyrazol: Determination of the Boiling Point

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the boiling point of

Aminopyrazol by the capillary method using an electronic controlled heating system.

Guidelines/Recommendations:

This study was based on the procedures indicated by the following internationally accepted methods:

-Commission Regulation (EC) No.440/2008 laying down test methods pursuant to Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) (originally published as Council Regulation (EC) No.440/2008, corrigendum according to Official Journal of the European Union (EN) dated June 3, 2008, L 143/55), Annex, Part A, A.2.: “Boiling Temperature”, Official Journal of the European Union, L 142, Volume 51, 31 May 2008

-Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, Guideline No.103, “Boiling Point”, adopted July 27, 1995

-Product Properties Test Guideline OPPTS 830.7220 of the United States Environment Protection Agency (EPA), August 1996

Results:

The determination of the boiling point was performed by visual judgement using the capillary.

At about 360 °C in the preliminary tests, the number of air bubbles increased. To confirm the result obtained in the preliminary tests, the determination of the boiling point was performed three times, heating quickly up to 340 °C and afterwards slowly using a heating rate of 0.5 °C/min.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, using the capillary method according to EU A.2, OECD 103, OPPTS 830.722 the test item Aminopyrazol started boiling at 243.7 °C (516.9 K) at normal pressure (101.325 kPa). This study is classified acceptable and satisfies the guideline requirements for boiling point studies.
