Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
5 °C

Additional information

Two reliable measured flash point results are available for the substance. A flash point value of 5°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using the closed-cup method in accordance with the ISO 13736 test method. The result is considered to be reliable and selected as key study. This value is supported by a flash point value of 4.9°C using a relevant test method. The key study has been selected on the basis of it being the most recently conducted study. The supporting study is in agreement with the key study indicating that the substance is a highly flammable liquid.

A flash point of 5°C and a measured boiling point of 103.9°C, indicate that the substance should be classified as a highly flammable liquid according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
