Description of key information

Short description of key information on bioaccumulation potential result:
No sign of absorption seen in any of the available in vivo toxicology studies.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No specific study was performed on the absorption / distribution / metabolism / excretion (ADME) of NC-4, but data are available fron the in vivo toxicology studies. No sign of absorption has been abserved in any of the available studies.

The physico-chemical properties of NC-4, particularly its very low water solubility and its relative high molecular weight may be limiting factors in the amount of material that is absorbed after oral or dermal exposure. Due to its vapour pressure, NC-4 is unlikely to be available under a vapour state.

A full discussion of the assessment is provided in the attached document.
