Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates. No toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP guideline study according OECD 202 using Daphnia magna has been performed (DR. U. NOACK-LABORATORIEN 2015). Due to the low solubility of the test item a semi-static limit test using a saturated solution (loading rate of 100 mg/L) has been conducted. No analytical monitoring of the test item concentration was carried out due to the low water solubility of < 0.4 μg/L (20 °C), which is below the analytical limit of quantification.

After 48 h exposure no effects up to the solubility limit have been observed and the EL50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L loading rate. Therefore, the test item is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
