Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item is with high probability not acutely harmful to fish. No toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP guideline study according OECD 203 using zebrafish has been conducted (DR. U. NOACK-LABORATORIEN 2015). Due to the low solubility of the test item a saturated solution was prepared with a nominal loading rate of 100 mg test item/L. No analytical evaluation of the saturated solution and the control was carried out since the water solubility is below the analytical limit of quantification. After 96 h of semi-static exposure no effects have been observed up to the limit of solubility with a loading rate of 100 mg/L. Therefore, the LC0 was determined to be >= 100 mg/L (loading rate) and the LC50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L (loading rate).

These results are supported by a second GLP guideline study according OECD 203 using Chinese Rare Minnow (APM 2017). A saturated solution with a loading rate of 100 mg/L was tested in a limit test also. The test concentration could not be verified since the measured concentrations were all below LOD (LOD=0.200mg/L). However, no effects could be observed after 96 h exposure. therefore, the LC50 is > 100 mg/L (nominal loading rate).
