Additional information

Reactive Red 198 was tested for acute toxic effects on golden orfe over an exposure period of 96 hours at dose levels of 1, 10, 100, and 500 mg/L in two different preparations. No lethal effects were observed in these studies. In one study, abnormal behaviour (swimming at the surface) was observed at 500 mg/L.

Hence, the LC0 and the LC50 is above 500 mg/L.
