Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to REACH Regulation, Annex IX, Column II, the substance does not need to be tested due to the low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow < 3) and a low potential to cross biological membranes (high molecular weight, high polarity). Furthermore direct and indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment is unsuitable.

Nevertheless, in all the experiments performed only sporadic trace concentrations (less than 0.05 mg/kg) of the substance were detected in the fish at exposure levels up to of 1 mg/l. In most instances, no detectable substance was found.

No tendency to be taken up and accumulate in aquatic organism is expected. A representative calculated value for not bioaccumulative substances with BCFBAF was reported to perform the Risk Assessment calculations.
