Description of key information

The vapour pressure of cyclic Glucamide C12-C14 was calculated from the molecular structure with the software MPBPWin v1.43 (Syracuse Research Corp.) by using the measured melting and boiling point of the substance.


Principle: The vapour pressure is calculated from structural parameters. The algorithm is derived from a correlation of a large number of chemical structures with experimental vapour pressures.


Result: Calculated vapour pressure is: 1e-5 Pa at 20 °C. These very low value is considered negligible. For ecotoxicological purposes the vapour pressure is therefore quoted as < 0.001 Pa.
