Description of key information

According to UN Test N.1 the test item cycl. Glucamid C12-14 could not be ignited applying a
flame as ignition source for at least 2 minutes. Instead, the test item melted.



The test item is classified as follows:
UN Transport Regulation: The test item should not be classified as readily combustible solid
in Class 4, Division 4.1 - Flammable solids according to the UN Transport Regulation.


 


GHS / Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008: Annex I: 2.7: The test item should not be classified
as flammable solid according to GHS / Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008: Annex I: 2.7,
respectively.



No pyrophoricity.



No flammability on contact with water.

Considering the structural formulas of the composition and experience in handling and use it can be stated that pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water is not a concern for the substance (expert statement).
