Additional information

A freezing point value of <= -60°C was determined for MS-Silane in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol (DIN ISO 3016). The result is considered to be reliable and assigned as key study. The melting point of MS-Silane constituents range from -57.7°C to -90.6°C at 1013 hPa. The melting point of dichloro(dimethyl)silane is -76.1°C, for dichloro(methyl)silane it is -90.6°C, for silicon tetrachloride it is -68.9°C and for chlorotrimethylsilane it is -57.7°C. The results are considered to be reliable and support the key study.
