Results and discussion

Water solubility
Key result
Water solubility:
> 5 000 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 5 - <= 9
Details on results:
The test item was completely miscible with buffer water at pH 5.0, 7.0 and 9.0 based on visual observation (absence of particles/traces of insoluble test item in the solution) without need for much agitation/vortexing. The water solubility was therefore > 5000 g/L at each pH. Based on this very high solubility, no analytical quantification was performed and the solubility was reported as > 5000 g/L in water at pH 5.0, 7.0 and 9.0 at 20 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The water solubility of DMMOPA Multifunctional Etheramine Additive was > 5000 g/L at 20 °C at pH 5.0, 7.0 and 9.0.
