The test item 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid was not considered to have explosive properties in the experimental conditions used.
Executive summary:

In compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 EC A.14. method (2008) 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid was not considered to have explosive properties in the experimental conditions used.

Mechanical sensitivity (friction): Six negative assays were recorded: No friction sensitivity was noted with the test item.

Mechanical sensitivity (shock): Six negative assays were recorded: No mechanical (shock) sensitivity was noted with the test item.

Thermal sensitivity (flame test): Six negative assays were recorded using noozle plates with a hole of 6-mm diameter and with a hole of 2-mm diameter: No heat sensitivity was noted with the test item.

In a test according to EC A.14. no sensitivity against friction, shck or flame was found. Therefore 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid is classied by teh registrant as non-explosive.
