Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The sample is closed up in a crucible made of aluminium and heated up in a DTA-system (heat ing rate 1 K/min). In comparison with an inert sample the temperature difference and the heat effect is recorded. The melting curve of the sample is a steep endothermic signal.
Executive summary:

Oxaphthalimid has a melting point of 216.47°C, 216.62°C, 216.52°C (closed crucible, after recrystallization) and of 219.45°C, 219.54°C, 219.80°C (open crucible, after recrystallization). Mean value of these six determinations = 218.1°C. The pressure is not reported.
