Additional information

Reactive orange 16 was tested for lethal effect in zebrafish (Danio rerio) for 96 hours. At 439.5 mg / L (based on active ingredient) no mortality was observed. The LC50 after 48 and 96 hours thus is over 500 mg / L.

The result is obtained from Markert's study is supported by read across also with experiments conducted on similar substance 1 and similar substance 2. These substances are are very similar to Reactive orange 16.
