Executive summary:

An acute toxicity test was performed on Daphnia magna according to OECD 202, under GLP conditions. 20 daphnids per concentration (4 vessels with 5 animals each) were exposed to 0 (control), 32, 56, 100, 180, 320 mg/L (nominal concentrations) of test item for 48h at 20 ± 1 ºC, under static conditions. The test item concentration was measured at the beginning and at the end of the exposure time. Based on the test results, the 48 h-EC50 of the test item in daphnia was determined to be 210 mg/L, and the NOEC was 95 mg/L, both based on mobility (measured concentrations).
