Conclusion on classification

The substance is classified as aquatic chronic 4 based upon the results of the water solubility, Log Pow and ready biodegradation studies.

The substance is not classified as acutely toxic to aquatic organisms. No toxicity was observed at the limit of saturation in the acute fish and D. magna toxicity studies. The 72 hour EC50 for growth of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitatabased on growth ratewas determined to be greater than 100% v/v saturated solution, the NOEC determined to be 12.5% v/v saturated solution and the LOEC determined to be 25% v/v saturated solution.
