Description of key information

The test substance is a white solid. A melting point of 244.7°C at 101.3 kPa was determined using the capillary viscometer method according to OECD Guideline 102. The test substance decomposes before boiling. A relative density of 1.717 at 20°C, was measured using the pycnometer method in accordance with OECD Guideline 109. The vapour pressure, 3.23E-15 Pa at 20°C, was determined using the effusion method (by loss of weight or by trapping vapourisate) in accordance with OECD Guideline 104 The partition coefficient, Log Kow, -3.81 at 20°C, was determined using the flask method according to OECD Guideline 107. Water solubility of 405 g/L at 20°C, was determined with the flask method according to OECD Guideline 105. Particle size distribution was conducted using laser scattering/diffraction with volumetric distribution in accordance with OECD Guideline 110. The median particle size L50 of the fraction < 1000 µm (78.8 % w/w) of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions was 634.2 µm. The particle size L10 of the fraction < 1000 µm (78.8 % w/w) of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions was 45.6 µm. The particle size L90 of the fraction < 1000 µm (78.8 % w/w) of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions was 1251 µm. The test substance was not flammable in a flammability test following EU Method A.10. The substance has no groups associated with explosive properties and is not oxidising based on chemical structure.
