Description of key information
The partition coefficient of Vertoliff has been determined as log P = 3.1 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC Method) because the substance Vertoliff consists of two main stereo isomers which were separated on HPLC as two peaks. The peaks could not be assigned to a particular constituent and had log Kow values of 3.0 and 3.2. In view of the concentration of the isomers around 50% we use an average value of 3.1.
