Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the 1,1,3,3 -Tetramethylguanidine (CAS 80 -70 -6) was tested in an GLP-biodegradability Closed Bottle test according to OECD 301D (Lonza Ltd, Rep no.: 698 -301 -0729R, 2015). After an exposure of 28 days the degree of biodegradation of the test substance was 5.2% based on BOD/ThOD measurement. A domestic non-adapted activated sludge was used as an inoculum. Therefore, 1,1,3,3-Tetramethylguanidine(CAS 80-70-6) is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria .
