Additional information - workers

No significant dermal and inhalation exposure is expected in all scenarios of the manufacture and all identified uses, therefore it was not considered scientifically justified to investigate systemic effects of the registered substance following an exposure by dermal route or inhalation route, and local respiratory effects.

Local dermal effects of the registered substance were investigated in accordance with Annex VII of REACH. It has been classified as Skin Sens 1B. In accordance with the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment - Part E: Risk Characterisation, substances classified as Skin Sens 1B are to be categorised in the medium hazard band for local dermal effects.

Effects of the registered substance to the eye were investigated in accordance with Annex VII of REACH. It has been classified as Eye Irrit 2. In accordance with the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment - Part E: Risk Characterisation, substances classified as Eye Irrit 2 are to be categorised in the low hazard band for effects to the eye.

It is not considered appropriate to perform further animal studies on this substance.
