The substance is a reaction mass and is not expected to auto-ignite based on the composition of the reaction mass.

The auto-flammability of the substance was determined via an expert assessment of the composition of the substance. Self-ignition (auto-ignition) testing can be waived on the basis that Reaction mass of 2-aminoethanol and 6-[(p-tosyl)amino]hexanoic acid, compound with 2-aminoethanol (1:1) will be non-flammable in air due to its high water content. In addition, a flash point study on the reaction mass also shows that the substance has no flash point up to its boiling point.
