The test substance induced statistically significant dose-related increase in the number of revertant (His+) colonies in TA1535, TA98 and TA100 either with or wothout metabolic activation.

The tester strain TA1537 showed negative response over the entire dose range of the test substance, i.e. no dose related increase in the number of revertants in two independently repeated experiments.

The negative and strain specific positive control values fall within labo background historical range.
