Vinyl neononanoate was not genotoxic when tested up to cytotoxic dose levels in the Ames/Salmonella gene-mutation assay, the L5178Y mouse lymphoma gene-mutation assay, the human lymphocyte chromomosome abberation test and the in vivo mouse micronuscleus test for chromosome damage.
