Description of key information

Hydrolysis is not expected/probable.

Additional information

The described 'yellow disazo condensation pigment' is practically insoluble and has a negligible vapour pressure. Hence, distribution into the compartments water and air are unlikely and in consequence abiotic degradation processes like hydrolyses and photodegradation are not relevant under environmental conditions.

In Annex VIII column 2 of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, it is laid down that the study on hydrolysis does not need to be conducted if the substance is highly insoluble in water. Therefore no tests are required.
