Calculation of water solubility
The water solubility of test item was regarded as < 0.539 mg/L because the test item concentration in the HPLC analytical sample was less than the limit of quantification.

Treatment of numerical values

Discussion
The water solubility was less than the concentration calculated from the limit of quantification. However, the analytical method was judged to be valid because the average of recovery rates was larger than 90%. Therefore, it was concluded that test results were acceptable.
