There is no study available on the toxicity of the substance to terrestrial toxicity.

Furthermore, a KOC value of 1 L/kg had been estimated for N,N’-methylene-bis(5-methyloxazolidine) on the basis of a measured value log POW value for 5-methyl-oxazolidine. This value indicates a weak adsorption potential of the compound to soil and sediments.

Based on these results no indirect exposure of the soil compartment is expected via sludge application to agricultural soil. Furthermore, direct exposure to soil is not expected.

Overall, calculating the PNEC using the equilibrium partitioning method seems to be appropriate for the risk assessment. An experimental study on toxicity to terrestrial organisms of the substance is scientifically not justified. The available data are sufficient.
