attention if irritation persists.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if

irritation persists.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, fog, foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemicals may

be used

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,

nitrogen and hydrogen chloride gas.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and full protective

clothing should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1.).

Sweep up spill (minimising dust evolution) and transfer into

a suitable container and destroy by incineration in

accordance with local regulations. Wash spill site with

plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. An impermeable apron, gloves

(BS 2092 or equivalent), safety glasses (EN 374 or

equivalent), a dust mask (BS 2091) should be worn.

If high concentrations of dust, an air insufflator mask (EN

136 or EN 137) should be worn

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers at ambient temperature

(<25°C) in a dry, dark place. Keep away from high

temperatures and exposure to air and alkalis.
