Short-term toxicity to fish


The acute toxicity to fish was tested in a key study according to EU-method C.1 and OECD guideline 203. Fish were exposed to static and semi-static conditions at nominal concentrations of 100, 1 and 0.1 mg/L. The 96 h LC50 was determined at greater than 1 mg/L and the 96 h NOEC was 1 mg/L.


 


Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates


The acute toxicity to invertebrates was tested in a key study according to EU-method C.2 and OECD guideline 202. Daphnia were exposed to static and semi-static conditions at different nominal concentrations. The 48 h EC50 was determined at 1.02 mg/L and the 48 h NOEC was 0.18 mg/L.


 


Toxicity to algae


The toxicity to algae was tested in a key study according to EU-method C.3 and OECD guideline 201. The 72 h EC50 was determined to be > 1 mg/L and the 72 h NOEC was 0.18 mg/L.


 


Toxicity to microorganisms


The toxicity to microorganisms was tested in a key study according to EU-method C.11 and OECD guideline 209. A pre-test and a main-study were performed. The 3 h EC50 was determined to be greater than 1000 mg/L and the 3 h NOEC was 1000 mg/L.
