Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

In accordance with REACH Annex VII Column 2, the study does not need to be conducted if:

- the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, for example on the basis of the chemical structure

The structure of the test item was assessed for chemical groups that would imply oxidising properties. Examples of such groups are nitrates, metal oxides, hypofluorites, difluoroaminopolynitroaryls, perchlorates, bromates and iodites. If there are no structural alerts within the structure then the oxidizing properties can be predicted negative.

There are no groups within the structures of the test item which imply oxidising properties.

Based on the chemical structures of the test item, the result for the oxidizing properties has been predicted negative.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The oxidising properties of the test item have been predicted negative based on its chemical structure and therefore it can be considered as non-classified.
