Executive summary:

Blum and Speece (1991) published several results of (i) a 96h anaerobic toxicity assay with methanogenic bacteria, (ii) a 49h toxicity test with activated sludge, (iii) a 24h nitrification inhibition test (Nitrosomonas spec.) and (iv) of Microtox bioassay (Photobacterium phosphoreum). Obtained results are (i) IC50 270 mg/L, (ii) IC50 98 mg/L, (iii) IC50 0.73 mg/L, (iv) IC50 0.95 mg/L. Regarding these tests, no guideline was followed.
