Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
>= 403 g/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
7.4
Remarks on result:
other: value based on nominal concentration
Details on results:
In Preliminary test 2, a mixture at a nominal concentration of 403 g/l was analysed at 268 nm and 617 nm after centrifugation. Concentrations measured at 268 nm and 617 nm after two times centrifugation steps were 435 g/l and 421 g/l respectively. From this it was concluded that all E-C104 had dissolved and that the water solubility is ≥ 403 g/l (i.e. nominal concentration). The pH of the aqueous sample after two centrifugation steps was 7.4.

No further testing was performed because Preliminary test 1 showed that at higher concentration (1009 g/l), a mixture of test substance and water cannot be stirred anymore.
