The substance is not readily biodegradable and causes an EC50 Daphnia of 24.6 mg/L as well as inhibition of algal growth (ErC50 18.6 mg/L) and biomass (EbC50 6.5 mg/L). Therefor, it should be classified as "acute and chronic aquatic hazard 3" (R52/53); H412.
