Short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is determined according to OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test)

Additional information

There are two available studies in order to determine the acute toxicity of the substance to daphnia. One study belongs to the same substance and the other one to the CAS 1195028-55 -7, which is the identical structure in respect to the anionic components. Both studies demonstrate that the substances have an EC50 for freshwater invertebrates > 100 mg/l.

The test results from the substance CAS 1325 -54 -8 shows that up to the highest concentration tested of 1000 mg test substance/l no toxic effect on Daphnia magna was observed. As the maximum concentration tested (EC50 daphnia)<100mg/l) no death was observed, the EC50(daphnia) could be considered assimilable at water solubility 142000 mg/l according OECD guideline. Therefore, the test substance is considered not to be harmful to daphnia.
