Half-life > 1 year, pH 3.99, 6.98 and 8.98, 25 ºC, EU Method C.7, Groult 2003

Additional information

The rate of hydrolysis of the test material was determined at three pH values in accordance with the standardised guideline EU Method C.7. After five days at 50 °C less than 10 % of the test material had hydrolysed at any of the three investigated pH values. Therefore, in accordance with the test method used, the half-life time t1/2of the test material may be estimated from the preliminary test to be:

t1/2> 1 year at 25 °C and pH 3.99

t1/2> 1 year at 25 °C and pH 6.98

t1/2> 1 year at 25 °C and pH 8.98

The study was performed in line with GLP and accepted standardised guidelines with a high standard of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1in accordance with the criteria of Klimisch and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material.

The available data are considered to be complete and the result determined, half-life > 1 year, was taken forward for risk assessment.
