The octanol-water partition coefficient of the substance was determined in the weight of evidence approach. The highest value, obtained applying KOWWIN v1.68 (US EPA Episuite v4.1) to monomeric C11 linear constituent, was selected as worst case. Results of respective calculations for shorter chains and dimeric constituents are significantly lower (from -0.58 to 1.35). As underestimated appears the determination based on solubility ratio in n-octanol and water (< -1.53). Result of the experiment performed according to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC method) confirms only that the log Pow range is between -5.2 and 4.2.
