Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

- General advice: First aider needs to protect himself. Move out of dangerous area. Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
- Following inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
- Following skin contact: Wash off immediately with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
- Following eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Protect unharmed eye. Remove contact lenses. Consult a physician.
- Following ingestion: Immediately give large quantities of water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
- Most important symptoms and effects: no data available

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Dry powder, Water spray, Foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2)
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as: Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx)
- Advice for fire fighter: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
No unprotected exposed skin areas.
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Avoid dust formation. Provide adequate ventilation.
- Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Use mechanical handling equipment.
Pick for disposal in tightly closed containers
- Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Prevent product from entering drains. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:
Advice on safe handling:
Wear personal protective equipment. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid dust formation. Do not swallow. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Normal measures for preventive fire protection.
Hygiene measures: General industrial hygiene practice. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Store in original container. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Advice on common storage: Do not store near acids.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures: Components with workplace control parameters
Contains no substances with occupational exposure limit values.
DNEL/ PNEC-Values: No DNEL-data available. No PNEC data available

2. Organisational protection measures: Handle in accordance with local environmental regulations and good industrial practices.

3. Hand protection: EN 374, 511, Glove material: Natural Latex, Break through time: 480 min, Glove thickness: 0,6 mm, Lapren®706, Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Replace when worn.
Remarks:Supplementary note: The specifications are based on information and tests from similar substances by analogy. Due to varying conditions ( e.g.temperature or other strains) it must be considered that the usage of a chemical protective glove in practice may be much shorter than the permeation time determined in accordance with EN 374. Since actual conditions of practical use often deviate from standardised conditions according EN 374 the glove manufacturer reccomends to use the chemical protective glove in practice not longer than 50% of the recomended permeation time. Manufacturer´s directions for use should be

4. Feet protection: safety shoes EN-ISO 20345

5. Body protection: Protective suit suit: EN 340, 463, 468, 943-1, 943-2

6. Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields

7. Respiratory protection: In the case of dust or aerosol formation use respirator with an approved filter. Recommended Filter type: Half mask with a particle filter P2 (EN 143)

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity : Stable under normal conditions.
2. Chemical stability : No decomposition if used as directed.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions : Hazardous polymerisation does not occur.
4. Conditions to avoid : Avoid dust formation.
5. Incompatible materials : Acids, Alkalis
6. Hazardous decomposition products: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
In case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as: Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx)

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
Product: Dispose according to legal requirements.
Packaging: Legal requirements are to be considered in regard of reuse or disposal of used packaging materials
