Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:

No experimental data on the skin sensitising potential of target substance was found in literature.

The OECD QSAR Toolbox (v. 4.0.0.26167) was used to identify structural alerts. In particular:

- protein binding by OASIS v1.4: no alert found

- protein binding by OECD: no alert found

- protein binding potency Cys (DPRA 13 %): DPRA less than 9 % (DPRA 13 %)

- protein binding potency Lys (DPRA 13 %) : DPRA less than 9 % (DPRA 13 %)

- protein binding alerts for skin sensitisation: no alert found

- protein binding potency h-CLAT: no alert found.

The Vega-qsar tool was run on the acid form of the target substance (CAS 88 -63 -1, EC 201 -846 -5), as not applicable to salts. A representative structural analogue identified in the Vega database (CAS 121 -57 -3) resulted to be non-sensitising experimentally.

Further inormation are available in the attachment in IUCLID section 13.2.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on results provided by QSAR tools and available data on structural analogues, the substance is not classified as skin sensitising within the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008).
