Details on results:
The three independent calibration series and three test item samples were measured. The partition coefficient Pow was determined based on a calibration curve using the seven reference substances. Under the above detailed chromatographic conditions, the test item (Peak I) had a retention time at 3.12 minutes. Using the linearity equation, the estimated partition coefficient of the test item is LogPow 2.15 ± 0.004 (with 95% confidence interval).
Conclusions:
The LogPow is estimated as 2.15 using HPLC method.
