The influence of the test item 2-SEM on aquatic organisms representing two different trophic levels was investigated in acute studies in accordance with OECD guidelines and GLP principles.

There is no toxicity to daphnia and algae. The LC50 values โ€‹โ€‹of >100 mg/L for toxicity against daphnia and >215 mg/L for toxicity against algae are above the limit value relevant to classification.

It is therefore assumed that there is no toxicity to fish.

2-SEM is considered not toxic to aquatic life.
