Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was found to be readily biodegradable under the test conditions. Furthermore, a log Kow of 4.8 was taken into account for classification. The most sensitive test for the aquatic compartment was the toxicity test to aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna). The 48h EC50 of the test substance was determined to be 3.7 mg/L. Based on these results, the substance is classified as long term (chronic) aquatic toxicity Category 2 (H411: Toxic to aquatic life) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as amended for the thirteenth time in Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/1480.
